Grammy-winning conductor JoAnn Falletta returns for one of the most beloved and frequently performed works in the orchestral repertoire - Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade, inspired by the collection of Middle Eastern folk tales known as “One Thousand and One Nights.” This concert also includes Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet and the contemporary Concerto for Timpani and Orchestra - Raise the Roof - featuring Principal Timpanist Gerald Scholl.
